20 Description

Rebekah and Eliezer (Gen. 24: 10-20, 42-46) are depicted in the bottom left panel.

Rebekah stands on the right. She wears a long tunic and has long hair worn over one shoulder. In her right hand she raises a bird-shaped pitcher, inscribed:"השקיני נא" (בראשית כד:מג) "let me drink" (Gen. 24:43). With her left hand Rebekah points towards Eliezer who is standing to her left. His right hand is raised towards the pitcher, and in his left hand he holds a stick.

He is bearded and wears a long robe.

Three small trees are depicted on the bottom of the panel one to either side of the figures.

An inscription in square filled letters appears on the upper right corner of the panel. It reads:"רבקה אליעזר" "Rebekah Eliezer".
