20 Description

Fol. 2: The initial word מלך "king", is written in gold, surrounded by red contour within a blue panel bordened by a red stripe. On the blue background, painted by a lighter blue with white and some red contours, are some figures. Within the space over the letter מ and the letter ל are two figures, their lower part of the body is of a lion, covered by a draperia and their upper part is human. Their long tail adorned with wide leaves. The two are fighting each other, lifting a clab and carrying a shield. Another figure, not recognizable anymore is over the ך A seated lion is painted within the מ. Between the מ and the ל is a human figure with lion's claws, wearing a robe and a hat. Within the ל stands a hairy monkey, lifting up its hand. Within the ך is a figure similar to the first two. The panel is resting on the capitals of two twisted columns with blue, red and yellow stripes. Red scrolls with small leaves and flowers are emerging from the capitals, surrounding the entire panel. The bases of the columns are resting on the back of two lions. The lions, yellow with red tangue, eyes, ears and nails, are standing on a ground. They have long tail (and?) thick mane.
