20 Description A rectangular panel at the bottom of the page encloses two scenes illustrating the text above which reads, ובמופתים. זה הדם, "And with wonders: this refers to the blood ..." On the right, in a room in Pharaoh's court, the crowned, leprous Pharaoh stands naked in a round, wooden tub while his attendants slaughter Israelite babies, and let their blood into the tub. The second scene on the left shows a group of grieving Israelites, wringing their hands and wiping their tears as an Egyptian seizes a baby from the hands of one of the women in the group.
